Don't really like Pubs that much myself but heard many things about this place and had to make the visit to South London after a friend's recommendation. Definitely enjoyed the the evening, during Thursday at their R&B night. Playlist was on point and some of the karaoke singers weren't too bad lol. Really liked the Artwork and what they've done with the place. Staff were bless too. Definitely visit and support.

A great place to go if you're looking for good food and a lovely atmosphere. This place really start picking up around 9ish so you'd better get there on time.

10/10 atmosphere. Every time I’ve been it’s very lively and staff are really friendly and welcoming. It can be a bit hectic at times but it’s worth it for the food - I want to come back soon!

The food itself was okay, I’m not very picky when it comes to pub food as I know it’s never going to be 5* food and most of the sides/fixings will just be pre-made and heated up, that being said the food was decent, not too bad and very reasonably priced.
However one of their bartenders seriously ruined a birthday surprise for me haha. Two of my friends were going up to the same bartender multiple times in the night, to check on the cake (which I had zero idea about, as it was a surprise). They were only liaising with her, so she saw both of them and had multiple interactions with them, neither of them look like me.
When I went up to the bar to get a drink (not even from her btw, another bartender was serving me), the young lady approached me and asked me unprovoked “are you the table with the birthday cake? Can you please get someone to come to the bar and collect the cake so we bring it out.”
Huge misstep on her part, ruined the surprise for me and my friends who organised it haha. Not the end of the world and I’m sure she’s a lovely girl but it did kind of put a dampener on things. Very anti-climactic tbh, could have been avoided if she just asked that question/approached literally any of the two girls who had been talking with her, again, they look nothing like me at all (in fact we’re different races all together lmao). The girl did indeed apologise a few times but it was a rookie mistake so easily avoidable.
The atmosphere is nice and lively for a night out, if you don’t fancy a loud one, deffo leave before 9pm.
The other bartenders (bar that one) were lovely and cooperative!

It’s so disheartening that I was denied entry last night simply because the lady at the entrance felt like not letting me in. Literally I had done nothing but accidentally joined the wrong line and because I didn’t kiss her ass she got upset and didn’t let me in. Mind you I’ve spent of 2k pounds at your establishment in the space of last year. Get professionals at the gate not little girls.

Realised I’d been overcharged after ordering and paying for food at the bar. Asked for a receipt but was refused - it was no longer possible. Then asked about the discrepancy: was told it was a service charge, that is, despite me ordering at the bar. Expressed my disappoint and frustration, and asked for a manager. Was told I was talking to one.
I assume this was a bad actor but it has ruined the bar for me and the group I was with. We won’t be back.

Prince of Peckham is sick, been there once and saw ATL and the band and they carried the whole night. Not sure what the rest of it is like but they should be residents. Definitely not many people here and I’m not sure why. Maybe it was promoted enough? 29/01/26

Some of the best Jerk chicken around, very friendly staff, atmosphere was really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend a visit.
